The Big Lebowski, Artificial Light, and Water

Many of you may have spent Labor Day with family, grilling tasty food out back, or maybe even hanging out down at the beach. I however, spent most of my Labor Day with the Big Lebowski. Now before you start quoting "the dude", let me explain. I didn't actually sit in front of the TV set watching the movie, but rather, I took the DVD out of the case and started photographing it. Inspired by a wonderful photo I saw on another photographers web site yesterday, I decided to rig up some artificial lighting, splash some water on a DVD, and see what kind of color I could capture.
